Hello Nizoral Team, I have dandruff and thinning hair. I still want to use gel to have a good hairstyle. But, I'm afraid it could give me more dandruff. How could I use hair gel and not getting dandruff?

Hair Gel without getting dandruff

Although it is best to leave you hair chemical-free and natural, you may consider using hair spray to shape your hair the way you want. Unlike other hair products such as gels, hair waxes and pomades, hair spray is effective to concealing thin hair because it doesn't "separate" the hair, but keep it together, which can produce a better lift and therefore a better illusion of volume and fullness. On the same note, foams work as well.

Bear in mind that some users spray more than needed. As a result, it leaves the hair saturated and makes it difficult for hair spray users to remove it in one shampoo application. So, go easy on the spray!

To remove the hair spray, we tend to prefer using a mild shampoo such as a baby shampoo and rinse it thoroughly.

Finally, the most effective way to get rid of dandruff is keeping using Nizoral Shampoo (as indicated, 3 or 4 times a week) until you have no dandruff. Plus, Nizoral contains Ketoconazole as main active ingredient, which has been recognized to reduce hair loss along with anti dandruff formula.
